The next offering from 2 Chainz will be called “Rap or Go to the League.”
The Atlanta rapper unveiled the title of this fifth solo album on a blimp floating around Los Angeles during Def Jam’s NBA All Star Weekend party.
In an Instagram post and video, 2 Chainz said his new work “shows continued growth, success, and motivation which is playing a role in the shift of the trap paradigm.” The release date is TBA.
In 2017, the rapper released “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music” and complemented it with an attention-grabbing marketing move – the Pink Trap House in Atlanta, which attracted fans from around the world.
Last week, 2 Chainz released a four-song EP, “The Play Don’t Care Who Makes It,” which boasts the quick hit “Proud,” featuring rapper YG and Migos’ Offset.
The 2 Chainz empire continues to succeed, as his Viceland TV show, “Most Expensivest,” has received a second season pickup and his new sneaker collection with Versace, “Chain Reaction,” is set to arrive this spring.
With the height of racial tensions across America I felt I should do my part in explaining some of the brain washing formulas used in my community , this album not only touches on those who did succeed thru entertainment but those who didn't ! Welcome to Rap or Go TO THE LEAGUE ! My 5th solo studio album and project that shows continued growth , success , and motivation which is playing a role in the shift of the trap paradigm ✌🏿⛓ #ROGTTL @airsignusa
