Kid Rock says Senate run a publicity stunt, announces 2018 tour with Duluth stop

Kid Rock is dropping his political ambitionsa publicity stunt, as he admitted to Howard Stern on Tuesday – to return to being a rock star.

His “Greatest Show on Earth” tour will visit Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 9. The tour launches Jan. 19 in Nashville and will play 21 shows around the U.S.

Kid Rock will also release “Sweet Southern Sugar” on Nov. 3, his first album recorded in Nashville and his first album since 2015.

Tickets will go on sale at 10 a.m. Nov. 3 via www.axs.com and www.livenation.com. Members of Kid Rock’s fan club can purchase tickets starting at 10 a.m. Oct. 31 and fans who pre-order the album at www.kidrock.com will be eligible for a pre-sale beginning at 10 a.m. Nov. 1. Ticket prices are TBA.
