The Foo Fighters will return to Atlanta in a big way.
The band’s new slate of dates for its “Concrete & Gold” tour includes a stop at Georgia State Stadium – the first concert to be held at the venue since its transformation from Turner Field.
Foo Fighters will perform – with special guests to be announced – at 7 p.m. April 28.
Tickets for the show are $54-$94 (plus a $5 stadium fee and ticketing fees) and will go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Nov. 3 via www.ticketmaster.com and the Georgia State Stadium box office. A pre-sale for Capital One cardholders begins on Oct. 26.
Seating options are general admission for the field and reserved seats in the 100-300 levels.
The band stormed through Atlanta in 2015 with a sold-out concert at Centennial Olympic Park; it was an especially memorable show since a bum leg forced frontman Dave Grohl to perform while seated on his “rock throne.”
