(Yep, I write about music, but I’m also a “Star Wars” fanatic…soooo….)
Luke Skywalker seems haunted.
Rey is embarking on some serious Jedi training.
Kylo Ren is sporting what resembles space-age eye black (yes, apparently covering up a scar) and slamming his headwear around.
And General Leia (R.I.P., dear Carrie Fisher) looks increasingly grave.
Those are the highlights of the trailer for “Star Wars: The Last Jedi,” which debuted on ESPN during halftime of what was, at the time, the dullest NFL Monday night game of the season between the Chicago Bears and Minnesota Vikings.
Also included are fleeting shots of Chewbacca, Poe, Finn, Captain Phasma and an adorable avian creature called a Porg.
The decidedly somber follow-up to 2015’s “The Force Awakens” will open Dec. 15.
