Cyndi Lauper will take a “Detour” and bring her new country sounds to Atlanta in June.

The pop star – who has tackled everything from blues to Broadway – will release her “Detour” album May 6 and perform at Atlanta Symphony Hall on June 5.

Tickets to the show – which will feature a special guest to be announced (not Boy George, who is joining Lauper on some other dates) – will go on sale at 10 a.m. March 11 for $35.50-$99.50 through all Ticketmaster outlets, www.ticketmaster.com or by calling 1-800-745-3000.

A presale with the password CYNDITOUR2016 begins at 10 a.m. March 8; members of Lauper’s fan club can purchase tickets beginning at noon March 10.

The “Detour” album – which will be released on vinyl and as well as on CD and digitally – includes guest appearances from country hotshots including Willie Nelson, Alison Krauss, Vince Gill and Emmylou Harris, as well as some patented yodeling from Jewel.

Lauper performed at Symphony Hall in 2013 for the 30th anniversary of her landmark “She’s So Unusual” album and returned the following year to open for Cher at Philips Arena.
